Our Wedding...
2010
After 7 and half years together we tied the knot back where we first met and surrounded by friends and family. My resounding memory of the day is of smiling. Thank you to everyone that ensured everything went to plan. But enough of the soppy stuff. Being back at uni it feeling like a uni reunion for our uni friends which meant that come the disco in the evening, we all thought we were students again! Thanks to Chris and Dan for their shirtless performance to the Baywatch song, i’m not sure my mother and gran have quiet recovered yet! The scottish country dancing ensured that even the groom was on the dance floor, although not sure the caller had planned on a 4 way basket during the day, well we may have encouraged her slightly to give this a go! By the end of the evening we didn’t want to leave and some of friends, in various states, carried the party on in town.
However this was not to be the end of the celebrations. Day 2 involved a picnic on Parker’s Piece followed by a rugby match, brides team v’s grooms team. There was colour coded stash involved aswell and our competitive natures may have got the better of us. Nash you should not have tackled my 70 year old Uncle. Due to our superior team, and perhaps the groom changing sides and some strange scoring the brides team won YEAH.
Thank you to everyone for coming and making the whole weekend such fun.
